Screen printing

Screen printing pushes ink through a fine mesh screen, one screen per color, to lay down bold, opaque prints that hold up wash after wash. It's the most cost-effective way to print larger runs of t-shirts and hoodies with a simple design, and Atlas handles screen print orders for businesses, crews, and events across Louisiana.

Screen printed pocket t-shirts for Young Life St. Francisville

Best for

  • Crew shirts and event tees in larger quantities
  • Designs with a few solid colors
  • Big front or back prints
  • The lowest per-shirt cost as quantity grows

Good to know

Each color is its own screen

Every ink color needs its own screen, so a one- or two-color design is the most efficient. Fewer colors usually means a lower price.

Quantity drives the price down

Setup is the same whether you print 50 shirts or 500, so the per-shirt cost drops as the run gets bigger.

Full-color art may suit DTF better

Photos, gradients, and many-color logos are often better and cheaper as DTF prints, especially on smaller runs. We'll recommend the right method for your art and quantity.

Durable, bold ink

Screen printed ink sits on top of the fabric with strong, opaque color that stands up to repeated washing.

Common questions

Where can I get t-shirts screen printed in Louisiana?

Atlas Merchandise Co. takes screen print orders for businesses, crews, schools, and events across Louisiana, from Baton Rouge, Gonzales, and LaPlace to Lafayette and Lake Charles. Send your design and quantities and we'll quote it with a proof.

Screen printing or DTF: which is better?

Screen printing is usually best for larger runs of a design with a few solid colors. DTF is better for full-color art, fine detail, and smaller runs. We'll recommend one based on your design and quantity.

Can you print on the front and back?

Yes. A small front logo with a large back print is one of the most common layouts, and both show on your proof.
